Founded by Farideh Kamartalaee, DeanasCakes was built from a lifelong love for art, design, baking, and creative presentation. We specialize in handcrafted cakes, luxury dessert tables, artisanal sweets, elegant finger foods, and custom creations designed to make every celebration truly special.

With a strong educational background in art and design studies at university, Farideh combined her artistic vision with professional pastry and cake education, including specialized training in cakes, pastries, and finger foods in her home country. After moving to Canada, she continued expanding her professional skills through cake and pastry courses at George Brown College.

Farideh’s professional career in cake decorating began in 2005 at Sam's Club, where she worked full-time as a Cake Decorator until 2009. After the closure of Sam’s Club stores in Canada, she continued her career with Costco Wholesale as a Cake Decorator until 2018. She later joined Cakes by Robert, where she further refined her cake decorating artistry and pastry expertise over several years.

Driven by creativity and entrepreneurial passion, Farideh officially launched DeanasCakes in 2021 after already building a growing customer base through Instagram sales beginning in 2020. Since then, DeanasCakes has continued to grow through its Shopify website and participation in many well-known events and exhibitions, including Brid2Be Show, Rave Event, Bumi Festival, BumiX, and the Canadian Bakery & Sweet Show, along with many other cultural and community events.

At DeanasCakes, every cake, pastry, cookie, dessert, and finger food creation is handcrafted with premium ingredients, artistic presentation, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality. We believe desserts should not only taste exceptional but also become a beautiful part of every event and celebration. By combining traditional flavors with modern edible art, we create unique signature products that reflect creativity, elegance, and individuality — including our modern artistic baklava creations that have become one of the signature highlights of our brand.

In addition to her professional work, Farideh has also shared her knowledge and passion by teaching baking and pastry classes for aspiring students and baking enthusiasts. Her goal has always been to inspire creativity, bring people together through desserts, and create memorable experiences through taste, beauty, and artistic presentation.
